This is a family owned small ryokan. There is no long history or remarkable architecture, but there are abundant of kind and friendliness in the ryokan. The ryokan is located in front of Kouno-yu, one of the seven traditional public onsens in the area. You will get good start for Sotoyu Meguri (Going around public onsens).

Kinosaki onsen is known for providing inspiration for well-known artists, writers, and calligraphers. The famous author Shiga Naoya also came to Kinosaki and stayed for three weeks in 1913. He wrote a short story, Kinosaki Nite.
