From Osaka: Take JR express train, Kitakinki or Hamakaze, from Osaka station to Kinosaki station. They will take you directly to Kinosaki Onsen area.

Accommodations


16 Japanese style room. One big sweet rooms are for 5 - 7 peorple, 8 rooms are for 2- 5 people, 5 rooms are for 2-3 people and 2 rooms are for two people. All rooms have bathroom.
Price: Starts 8000 yen without meals and weekday only. Start 14000 yen with meals (dinner and breakfast). Price will go up during Japanese vacation period and weekend.

The Water


Onsen Specifics: Three unique bathing rooms are shared among the guests. No reservation is necessary. Gusts simply put a sign said "used" in the front of each bathing room when she/he is using. Sine number of gusts is limited; there is no problem of waiting for your turn.






This ryokan is located in the center of the Kinosaki Hot Spring town, but it's not facing a big street. You can enjoy quiet moment in the middle of action. This spacious and upscale ryokan is managed with female owner. Her motto is to produce and maintain original sophistication throughout ryokan.

Tradition of Kinosaki is to try all seven public bathes, which has different benefit. Ryokan will provide you yukata (Japanese Summer Cotton Kimono) so that you can put it and take it out very easily. Read about Kinosaki's seven public onsens.

Kinosaki onsen is known for providing inspiration for well-known artists, writers, and calligraphers. The famous author Shiga Naoya also came to Kinosaki and stayed for three weeks in 1913. He wrote a short story, Kinosaki Nite.
