From Tokyo: Take a JR shinkansen, Komachi, to Tazawako station. From Tazawako station, take a local bus, direction for Neuto Onsen, and get off at Taenoyu Onsen.
Travel Time: Travel Time: Tokyo to Tazawako takes around 3 hrs and 30 min. A local bus ride takes 43 min.

The Water

Onsen Specifics: Seven outdoor bathing locations (three for man, three for woman, and one for reserved only.) Two bathging rooms (one for man and one for woman.)

This is the most modern design ryokan in Niuto onsen area. Owner of the ryokan had an idea about innovative Onsen ryokan. She wanted mix with western and traditional Japanese style at the same space. In the entrance, there is Japanese style of room from Edo period with Baroque music. She also trys to keep harmony between nature and modern life style. One of the guest's favorite hot tub is called Myoken-no yu and is built right next the ravine. You can listen to the sound of river in the hot spring.
