Katsuragino-sato is the sister ryokan with Yumoto Choza. The main wooden houses were built 150 years ago; several more recently bult buildings were designed to integrate with the original architecture.

Japanese onsen lovers consistently give Katsuragino-sato high marks and not surprisingly, the onsen has many repeat visitors.
